Originally from Tyler, Texas, Robin is a single parent to a wonderful daughter, Piper and is one of the first Camp Lucy employees. He attended the University of Texas at Tyler, Southwest Texas, and the University of Arkansas and has a B.A. in Psychology. He has held a Social Work Associate license, Texas Real Estate license and Experiential Therapist license. His passion for others led him to working for the Marbridge Foundation for several years and receiving the 1998 Tom Landry Coach of The Year award recipient for Special Olympics.
Fate and small-town networking brought him to Camp Lucy where he would work and live on property before there were even weddings. Robin remembers a time when he would mow the lawn, do tours, set up tables and chairs, work the wedding and then clean up afterwards. Today he is grateful for all of his co-workers who keep things running smoothly and enjoys the variety of hats that he wears in his role including managing the vineyard, taking care of the animals and everything in between.
